    Goodbye, 2017. Hello, 2018!

Oh how I welcomed you with enthusiasm and hope, 2017. But you made it too challenging for me that I frequently found myself feeling lacking in so many respects, doubting, and making awkward attempts at getting back on track. I will probably get scolded for sounding like someone who doesn’t know how to count her blessings but nope. I am grateful for my blessings but I just needed to let any negativity off my chest first. I just wanted to say, 2017, you threw so many failures and trials my way that I wanted you to end so quickly. But you also showered me with non-material blessings and taught me…

    What Pinoy Lawyers Love

We created a Facebook group called “What Pinoy Lawyers Love” as a platform for Pinoy lawyers to connect and share hobbies and interests with each other. We envision the group to be a virtual place where Pinoy lawyers can find their balance after a stressful day at work. We also hope to make it into an active environment for swapping talents, buying/selling stuff exclusive to members, organizing events, or sharing job/career opportunities with fellow Pinoy lawyers. So we’re shouting out to all Pinoy lawyers out there. Come join us at http://www.facebook.com/groups/PINOYLAWYERS

    Accidental “Me” Time

So I went to the office today, stopped by Starbucks, and was refused entry because of the ongoing evacuation drill in the area. There’s a Starbucks at our office building and I grab my daily cup there before heading to work. I was shocked that I didn’t get any notice of the drill such that I wasn’t able to prepare for nor avoid it. I demanded that I be allowed to go to our office instead but the guards won’t let me. They escorted me away from our office building and towards Makati Shang. Okay, before I had Juancho, my rage meter would have skyrocketed already. But I was relatively…

    What A Busy Saturday!

I wanted to post more about Seoul and the beautiful places we went to but I currently do not have the time to go over my photos and select which ones to show you. Just so that I can catch up with you, I thought of writing about my unusually busy Saturday. Don’t worry, more posts about Seoul will be up soon. So last Saturday, my day started with picking up my baby’s toys scattered at the living room. Our baby is now an active walker and mover and his stuff are like all over the house! Hubby went out early in the morning to meet his friends for a…

Monsees Breadsticks, A Great Foodie Gift

This is something I’m sharing with you not as a partner/owner of Monsees Bakery & Cafe but as an objective consumer who takes pride in sharing good foodie finds. I’d like to tell you, and this is not just based on personal experience alone but also on the heart-warming favorable feedback we’ve been receiving, that our breadsticks (or grisini, if you’d like to call it that way) is a perfect foodie gift for any occasion. All year round, we’re getting bulk orders for our breadsticks as baptismal/wedding/birthday souvenirs. But there’s always this special time of the year when orders pile really high. You guessed it right, during Christmas season! 🙂…
